Meganomia gigas Michener, 1981. Holotype male in American Museum of Natural History, New York (AMNH). Type locality: Namibia.

Biology

Pollen collecting bees that nest in the ground often in large densities. Recorded visiting flowers of Crotalaria podocarpa (Eardley & Urban, 2010).
