Leucospis tricolor Kirby, 1883. Holotype in London (NHMUK). Type locality: South Africa.

Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania (including, Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Biology

Hosts: Pachyanthidium bicolor (Lepeletier de Saint- Fargeau, 1841) (Bouček, 1974), Pachyanthidium cordatum (Smith, 1854) (Kirby, 1883), Pseudanthidium truncatum (Smith,  1854) (Bouček, 1974), Serapista denticulata (Smith, 1854) (Bouček,1974) (Megachilidae).
