Leucospis varicollis Cameron, 1909. Lectotype in London (NHMUK). Type locality: "Argentina", South Africa.

Distribution

Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Biology

Hosts: Auplopus vitripennis (Smith, 1855) (Weaving 1994, 1995) (Pompilidae); Lithurgus spiniferus Cameron, 1905 (as Lithurgus capensis Friese, 1905) (Bouček,1974) (Megachilidae).
