Distribution Afrotropical (South Africa), Indo-Australasian (Malaysia and Indonesia; introduced to New Zealand), Oriental (China,  India,  Myanmar,  Nepal), Palearctic (Austria, Azores, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom) and Nearctic (Canada,  Mexico, U.S.A) regions.
Biology Egg parasitoids of Cicadellidae and Cercopidae.
