Dyscritobaeus sulawensis Mineo, O’Connor & Ashe, 2009. Holotype in NMID. Type locality: Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, 0°34'N, 123°54'E, Sulawesi.

Dyscritobaeus hannibal O’Connor & Ashe, 2011. Holotype in (MSNG) [USNMENT01223044}. Type locality: Maputo, Mozambique. Synonymy by Tortorici et al 2016.

Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Arica, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe. Also Australasian, Oriental, and Palaearctic regions.
