Scelio marbis Nixon 1958. Holotype: in The Natural History Museum, London. Type locality:

Distribution	South Africa, Zimbabwe. Link to distribution MAP (Hymenoptera online database).
Biology	Host unknown, but probably an egg parasitoid of grasshoppers in the family Acrididae (Orthoptera).
