Distribution

Nearctic, Palaearctic.

Biology

Parasitoids of sawflies (Symphyta). Ropronia brevicornis attacks species of Periclista. Biology is poorly known, but they are likely endoparasitoids, ovipositing into the host larva and emerging from the pupa.
