Fusicornia bambeyi var. inermis Risbec, 1957: 529. Holotype in Paris (MNHN). Type locality: M'Boro, Senegal. Synonymy by Taekul et al 2008.

Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
