Distribution

Angola, Botswana, Eritrea, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Zimbabwe. Also Palaearctic region.

Biology

Provision their nest with pollen and nectar, nest in burrows in the soil.
