Conostigmus bucephalus Mikó and Trietsch, 2016. Holotype in California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco (CASC). Type locality:  Province Fianarantsoa, Parc National Ranomafana, radio tower at forest edge, elev 1,130 m, 21 15.05′S, 47 24.43′E (Madagascar).
