Polyglossa peringueyi Cockerell, 1921. Holotype in Iziko South African Museum, Cape Town (SAMC). Type locality: Knysna, South Africa. Synonymy by Eardley, 1996.

On flowers of: Arctotheca calendula, Arctotheca sp., Arctotis sp., Dimorphotheca sp., Gazania
sp., Osteospermum sp. (Eardley & Urban, 2010).
