Distribution

Botswana, Cameroon, Chad, Egypt, Gambia, Kenya, Mali, Niger, Senegal. Also in Palaearctic region

Biology

On flowers of: Aerva javanica, Balanites aegyptiaca, Borreria verticillata, Boswellia sacra, Cassia obovata, Cassia sp., Cucurbita sp., Euphorbia pubescens, Gossypium sp., Heliotropium bacciferum, Indigofera sp., Medicago sativa, Mitracarpus scaber, Retama retam, Sesamum sp., Tamarix spp., Vicia faba, Ziziphus sp., red Fabaceae (Eardley & Urban, 2010).
