Distribution

Madagascar.

Diagnoses

Distinguished from other Phanerotomella by the presence of various dark patches on its body. It is closely related to Phanerotomella seyrigi Granger from which it can be separated by having long lateral spines on the propodeum (vs. short).

Etymology

From the Greek 'ειρήνη (eirenè)' meaning "the peace" and in honour of Braet Yves girlfriend who shares his study of insects.
