Neacidiophora bequaerti var. sternalis Forsius, 1931. Holotype in the Natural History Museum, London (BMNH). Type locality: Maraquo, Ethiopia. Synonymy by Koch, 1998.

Neacidiophora luteipennis Pasteels, 1950. Holotype in (). Type locality: Democratic Republic of Congo.
